They take walk-in’s, took my Daughter for a hair cut and I must say they did a great job. Her hair was washed,cut and blown out for a great price. I highly recommend Clara’s Unisex Hair Salon.

CLARA’s Hair Salon located in the Fleetwood section of Mount Vernon, NY, is a neighborhood favorite. The owner, Lily and all of the other stylists in the salon are true professionals who take the time to listen to what the patrons want and discuss the steps they will take to provide the desired outcome. Gina, my stylist for over 20 years, is GREAT! She takes excellent care of me and my hair. When I come into the salon, Gina can just sense when I have something on my mind…hmm, maybe a new look? Whether it’s a different color or different style, before I can even ask, Gina’s already offering ideas. I love that! Thank you Gina for knowing who I am and what I like and for taking time listen to me. I trust, rely on and value your input and feedback! I know that, no matter how I feel or what I look like when I walk into Clara’s Hair Salon, thanks to Gina, I will walk out looking & feeling like a million bucks. Gina, you are the best!

i got a hair cut and i told her the exact length and she gave me a kinda bob when i never wanted that problem is she did not let me look up because she made me put my head down which have me uneven layers everyone know you put ur head straight so they can cut it evenly and it was just horrible never again

Honestly, terrible experience. My hair was cut so short and looks absolutely nothing like the picture I showed the stylist. In fact, my hair is so uneven, it’s an inch longer on one side and just looks terrible. Genuinely, Caesar does not know how to cut hair at all. Left my hair looking a damn mess. I’m actually so mad. Waste of my time and money.

I always have an amazing experience at Clara's Unisex Hair Salon! Everyone is always warm and welcoming. Ladis, my stylist, always listens to what I want and gives me the perfect cut and style— even better than I can imagine. I always receive compliments! The salon itself is clean, stylish, and relaxing. Li, the salon's owner, is also an incredible stylist! I highly recommend Clara's Unisex Hair Salon to anyone looking for professional, friendly service and great results!

I have been going to this salon for 5 years now! Gina is my hairdresser and she is awesome. They are great at coloring, cutting and styling. And they’re all so welcoming. The other thing I love is their appointment setting process. I h never have to wait to be serviced and there is always parking in the area. If you are in the Mount Vernon area, I highly recommend Clara’s Unisex!

I had an appointment with Lily and she was so incredibly nice. I very rarely get my haircut in salons and have a lot of anxiety towards it, but she was so patient with me, listened to what I wanted, and gave me such a great cut! I’ll definitely return, thank you Lily! ❤️

Claras hair salon is fabulous! I have been going here for years. I have been to every hair salon in the area and found this one to be the best. I get my highlights done and the color and cost is hard to beat. They deserve all the praise. Also a very friendly environment!
